How to Make Lemon Cleaner
Homemade Lemon Cleaner disinfects and deodorizes your home without adding toxic chemical into your living space. It is affordable and easy to make!
DIY Lemon Cleaner
Ingredients:
Fresh Lemon Peels
Fresh Rosemary
Vinegar
Water
Vanilla Extract
Supplies:
Mason Jar
Combine fresh lemon peels, rosemary and equal parts water/vinegar in a mason jar. Add vanilla extract for fragrance. Leave it to infuse for two weeks and strain into a glass spray bottle.
For a faster solution, you can simply add lemon and rosemary essential oils to a glass spray bottle, shake and spray.
Make sure you are leaving your jar of cleaner in a temperature controlled space to avoid mold during the infusing process.

Not sure why you would need vanilla for scent? Lemons, lovely scent. Rosemary even lovelier for scent?
I can’t imagine either lemons or oranges (which I’ve been using for years) ever moulding?
I’ve been just using the oranges covered in water, they last for months, just top up the mason jar with water when it gets too low. Great for swabbing the tub, toilet and it smells great.

I’ve been using orange peels covered with water for years now. They last for months as long as the peels are submerged. Great for swab’s the tub/toilet.

Is the Rosemary just for scent? I have an epileptic seizure canine that can not be exposed to Rosemary oils. Actually a lot of herbal oils are neuro toxins to all animals. Rosemary oils are also used in many dog foods as a preservative. It’s a flat no no as its a neuro toxin trigger for seizures. She just had two last pm after a nine week stretch of seizure free until she got a hold of cat food with Rosemary. Low & behold two seizures (the monster) returned.
Rosemary is anti bacterial and can keep pests away, just remove it from the recipe!!!!!
